Materials Needed
- Apples
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon salt
- Carving knife
- Bowl
Step One
Grab your bowl and begin pouring your lemon juice into it.
Step Two
Pour the salt into the lemon juice and combine by stirring it around.
Step Three
Grab your apples (as many as you like) and begin peeling them.
Step Four
Take a pencil and draw your skull design. Don't forget to make it creepy.
Step Five
Begin carving along the lines of your design. Don't worry if the apples start to brown, it's completely normal! Once you are done, set aside.
Step Six
Begin putting your apples into the bowl of juice. Let them soak for 20 minutes.
Step Seven
Done! Just 'beware' that it will take a few days for them to completely dry! These fun crafty decorations will last for a long time without the need for refrigeration.
